School Psychologists

School Psychologists assist area schools in carrying out their responsibility to appropriately

serve children with learning or other disabilities.

School Psychologists can also assist students struggling with emotional and/or mental health problems

at the request of school administrators.

School Psychologists work closely with building level Student Assistance Teams (SAT) to provide

quality pre-special education referral interventions that will hopefully help the struggling student

remediate and not need special education services.
